AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
It's sad that more people don't value our country as much as they should.

I grew up a us citizen in europe. I wish I could tell you all what the feeling was like when I moved back and stepped off the plane for the first time. You have NO CLUE what you got until it's taken away.
Hopefully it moves people enough to start caring about our country, instead of just taking it for granted.

The thing is, we should have to take things like this for granted, now im no hippie, but it should be like this everywhere, the world today is ridiculous.
Don't laugh at me but when I first saw that picture it made me want to cry. That's really sad.
When I went to my daughters Christmas program, and we sang the national anthem, there were several students sitting in front of us who didn't stand. They remained seated and talked and ate chips during the entire song. That was really disturbing, and so is this picture.

Romeo... bah! He's a pathetic fool who was lamely obsessed with the impressionable Juliet.
I'll admit, I was one of those people who was sitting, talking and eating chips durring the pledge of allegance. 9th grade was a period of ignorance for me and I've learned that freedom isn't free.
It's a good picture, but its also somewhat misleading.
Ever been to a parade where everyone was sitting? I haven't.
They are zoomed in right on him and the people sitting. I would wager that if you zoomed out a little there would be others standing. Assuming that this isn't photoshopped in the first place.
I agree, though, it does represent a sad trend in this country. But at the same time, one picture like this shouldn't be used as proof that this guy was the only one at the parade standing up
