    Telex Transfer (T/T)

    could anyone explain what exactly this is? i know its a way of sending money between banks but beyond that im lost. i would like to know pros, cons? what it offers? thanks.

      As I understand it it's just another form of a wire transfer. Supposedly more secure due to coded authentication numbers etc. It's used a lot internationally.

        what kinda charges do you get for using it? can anyone use it? as i understand its normally used for businesses sending money.

          The only time I've been affiliated with it was with a bank in India. I'm pretty sure it was $25 to send it. A couple other places I've ordered from have listed it as a payment option if you're willing to pay a $15 fee. Not sure if there's a standard rate though.
