AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Official how much have you made selling stuff online
I bought some used scsi hard drives that are hot swappable, i bought 30 drives at $5 a piece, mostly 9.1 and 18.2GB, and I'm currently selling 2 - 4 drive lots for about $200 each, so $50/drive. I"m happy. Out of the 30 drives, 3 were duds

Once I bought a iMac at work when I worked at CompUSA for $180 and turned around and sold it on eBay for $800. It was brand new, pretty much, all it needed was an OS reinstall.
A friend of mine went in with someone else though, and bought $15,000 worth of stuff and turned around and sold it for around $35,000. The money for the auctions was in before he even got his credit card bill.
Every once in a while CompUSA unloads discontinued inventory. If you are friends with the manager, you get first pick. It was cool when it happened
If you count the miniatures I use to buy cheap, clean them up and then sell them for a 100 percent profit at least, I have made alot. I would guess around 5,000. In paintball I bought an old Spyder Classic from my friend for like 30 bucks. And to this day that is the only money of mine I have used for paintball equipment.
One of my friends goes to an antique store every few weeks. Spends about $50, puts it all on ebay and it all sells for $150-200. If it didn't take so much time I would give it a try.
