AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
What is the stuff you spray on someting to keep it from smearing?
What your talking about is a clear acrylic sealer. Art supply stores would have it in spray cans. Krylon makes one of the most commonly used ones. All you need to do is go to the isle with painting supplies in your local art store (like Hobby Lobby or Micheal's) and you'll find it. With this type of spray you can work over top of it and keep adding to the piece. I don't know if you can do that with the hairspray, I've never used that. Good luck!
Krylon is a good brand to use. I've used hairspray on a few charcoal drawings i've done just because it was the only thing I had lying around but just don't use too much otherwise it'll curl the paper as well as yellow it. Oh, and make sure to spray that stuff in a well ventalated area. A few weeks ago someone in one of my figure drawing classes sprayed it inside and we had to clear the room for quite a while.

Skoad, the exact name of the product you want to buy is called "Workable Fixatif" Its just like these guys explained. Its a spray, that keeps stuff from smearing (charcoal, color pencil, pencil, what ever) but it allows you to still work over it once you've sprayed it on. Any descent art person/ store will know what you mean.
