    Paintball in Taipei?

Hey everyone, I'm studying here in Taiwan, and have been fiending for a game ever since I got here a month and a half ago. I didn't bother to look for paintball, since they mostly play airsoft out here. Except for on my spring break, I found a field on the southern tip of the island. So, I'm wondering if anybody knows of any fields closer to Taipei?

Anyway, here's some pics of chinese people playing paintball in case anyone cares, they're kinda funny looking.

Yeah, there's paintball in taipei... My friend's played it there... It sucks compared to over here... heh... They have to wear jumpsuits and they use crappy rental markers. Their go-karting sucks too... I mean, it's cool that it's underground but they're slower and you still have to wear a jumpsuit...

I've seen a paintball field in Costa Rica, and I've heard of paintball fields in Thailand. It's kind of funny, really. I always thought of paintball as a very Western sport, and a very white one at that.

How's the SARS scare going over there in Taiwan? Are people wearing masks under their paintball masks?

Family friends in taiwan aren't very freaked out about the SARS because they know they can't do anything about it besides wash their hands. Those masks don't do anything to prevent transmition. The best bet on keeping away from SARS is to wash wash and wash again.

Actually, certain masks may help prevent transmission of SARS - you just have to have the right ones. N95 respirators, used by hospitals around the world to prevent spread of TB and anthrax, claim filtration down to 0.1 microns. The average coronavirus is just about that size.

That being said, washing your hands is probably one of the best things you can do to prevent spread. That and not going to the hotspots in SE Asia.
