Good to know that somone of Tom's status seeks "relief" from a sport he helped create. A sport now ruled by a single patent.

This one's from Iraq. Here's the caption to it:
"U.S. Army soldiers and a translator inspect a gold plated German-made MP-5 submachine gun that soldiers from A Company 3rd Battalion 7th Infantry Regiment found in another arms cashe they found in Baghdad, Iraq"

i would think id would be better to take it sell all the things like that that are useless really but will sell and give it to the government so it hopefully goes back to the people.(theres probably millions of dollars of stuff like that they could sell)

                            OK!
This is my dedicated squirrel gun. Savage 12BVSS in .223, wearing a Burris 6-24X, and in the factory stock I customized. I haven't quite yet made the 500yd Club with it, only because where I usually shoot ground squirrels only has about 450yds available.

This is my dedicated long range rifle. Savage 110FP in .308, wearing a Nikon 5.5-16.5X, in a Choate Sniper stock. I regularly make the 1000yd club with it, and have dropped coyotes past 900yds.

The strange looking rifle started life as a Winchester M75 back in 1936, A 13lb target rifle. When I got it, it had been abused to the point of not firing and bashed all to pieces, literally. So, I removed over 8lbs of steel and wood, eliminating nearly all of the target rifle parts, and cutting back the barrel from 28", to 18". The barrel has been back-bored 2" to create an expansion chamber, which smooths the high speed gasses around the bullet before it completely exits. Being Sarah's gun for her 5th grade graduation, it now weighs 5.5lbs. It will put 10 shots into a dime at 50yds. The scoped pistol is my other squirrel gun. It's a single shot, break action, that has the ability to quickly swap barrels of other calibers. In about 1.5 minutes, I can go from the .22 Match barrel that you see, to a .44 magnum, or .410 shotgun, or even .30-30 as I have those barrels too. The 1911A1 is my competition pistol. I shoot Action Pistol every other month, against those pro-class shooters you see on OLN or TNN every now and then (our club range is used quite often for many national and international meets). Action pistol is torso targets and steel reactive targets shot against the clock in mini-scenarios (7-11 robbery for instance). Fast, furious and accurate shooting is the only way to stay in the game. Out of 60 or so shooters, I manage to stay in the top 10 in my class.

Of course, you want to see my cool stuff, right? Here is my FN-FAL in 7.62NATO (top rifle). I've owned this since 1976 when there were less than 2000 FAL's in the USA, I lucked out on a motorcycle trade...big time! The other is my M4 variant, wearing an issue M86 red-dot sight. I shoot both regularly at our club range, alongside Cops and other security peoples (local Nuclear Plant). Yes, I know it has a short barrel. Since I use it in my regular duties, I am allowed to possess it under Calli law. AND...NO, neither are full auto.

These are only a few of my toys. But I do have one more little itty bitty gun to show you.

Here I am inside an M1A1 Abrams, replacing the solenoid that fires the coaxial machine gun (I do stuff like this all day). This baby will thump varmints out to 3 miles regardless how fast they, or I, may be moving. No varmint in the world can withstand the impact of a 15lb projectile traveling faster than a mile a second!
