    Anybody know anythign about Norton?

Alright, I hate Norton, i bought Norton 2002, and installed anti-virus and internet security, now i want to get rid of them. I can uninstall norton antivirus just fine, but when i try to Uninstall Internet security (cant send taxes on turbo tax with it on) it says i have to be a supervisor, im on XP, but i only have one name. I tried deleting everything, but it wont, tried using the programs uninstall, and the add/remove programs, but nothing works, i updated it, it wont let me even start it up anymore without this supervisor crap. Anyone know how to get it off my computer?

    Thanks

Try rebooting into safe mode, log in as Administrator, and try it again.

That is really interesting-we have a bunch of Norton stuff, and my dad really liked it so he bought internet security (We have XP) and after he installed it the computer went insane. What he ended up doing was moving everything on the computer to another hard drive we don't use a lot then reloaded windows.

Well, if you hadn't been screwing around with Internet Security trying to uninstall it, you could have just right clicked on the desktop tray icon of it and hit disable, and then done your tax stuff... simple, ain't it?
