Sydarm Upgrades (Real ones not Fantasy)

Anybody have any good Ideas for upgrading a Sydarm. Besides just a 45 grip.

its a sydarm. the only thing i would ever want for one is a pump kit.

A pump kit sounds cool.

What about bolts and possibly any other performance enhancing things?

you'd have to have someone drill out the PT and then you would be able to install a level 10 kit... and to have a pump kit put on, you'd need the pump rail and the body milled for the pump rod slot

and you could stick an i-frame on it or something along that line, along with a bottomline setup


but aftermarket parts for automags made by companies other than proteam, benchmark, and AGD are a bunch of CRAP! especially the ANS junk

A new barrel perhaps? Centerfeed 10in Stainless freak? Then a botom line 45 4.5k on a small drop. Oh, and polish the entire thing up.

a quick change mechanism like on the PT extremes. The stock one makes it a pain to change 12 grams.
Why would you run a bottom line on a sydarm. The idea is that it is small and holsterable. You'd be better off slapping a stock feed tube on a classic.

Someone had informed on on another post that the lvl 10 wouldn't be a good idea to install - as it will lower the shots per 12-gram to around 7-12 -- in which if it's 7 that's less than the 8 shots you can load it up with.

Haha - bottom line on a sydarm.... definatly not a usable upgrade idea. -wyn1370- is right.

A quick change would definatly be nice. Maybe a plunger type - I don't know.

I was actually thinking of making a sniper rifle kit for my sydarm..haha - When I get a chance, I'll play with that idea more. I'm thinking that it'll be compact and light enough to sling on my back and if your sniping, you don't need 200 rnds. The accuracy and velocity are my 2 main factors - I'll find out maybe in the next 2 weeks.
