    Pontiac Motor Pics

I just got my scanner working.
These are pics of the 74 Pontiac 400 I rebuilt this summer.
I call it Blaudonner. She's now resting between the fenders of my 81 POS T/A. I'll keep it in there till I find a Goat to pop it in.

remember to counterweight the judge when you hook it up. but then agin wheelies are always cool in a Judge.
Had lots of cars through my years and i finally found a style i will stick with. Like it even better then my old Firebird.

I drive a '99 firebird, I absolutely love pontiac. I was deeply upset when GM offically annouced the end of the camaro/firebird lines

Recently my dad purchased an '69 firebird, looking forward to seeing it after its rebuilt.
"it constantly leaked from the 3 way. I bought all new pneumatics and the leak just moved. I sat down and looked over Ravi's cocker site and messed with it and it still did'nt work right. I took it to a local "cocker expert and it worked ok until I got it home. Needless to say I have never had the urge to throw something off a cliff more." - Load SM5 on owning an Autococker

2005 should be the year of the return. NO plans have been announced. No known platform.
If that's the case, GM isn't talking, because in order to get the model out by then, they'd have to be well into development.

              I also LOVE the Pontiac

I currently own a 2 door 2000 GranPrix GT as well as a Canadian Built 1964 Parisienne Custom Sport Convertible

The latter is a resto project (but kinda hard to do body work here)

My dream is to have a 64 or 65 GTO Convertible

Party Foul! Do not be talking about a 64 Parisienne softtop that you own without posting pictures.
                I demand pictures!!!!

I have a 99 Firebird and a 84 Camaro. I hated to see GM discontinue the F body. I just hope when they rerelease them they stick to the rear wheel drive. They will ruin the Firebird/Camaro name if they make them front wheel drive.

To many younger drivers these days have never even driven rear wheel drive cars. There is just something special about a controlled power driven rear wheel slide that cant be duplicated with front wheel drive cars.

please tell me that's at least the GP with 3.4L DOHC. The F body is a little out classed by the newer imortants as far as handling and amenities go, and GM needs some time to completely revamp the design. Which basically means that the new Cammies and 'Birds will be smaller and more efficient. Why oh why do the Japanese have to ruin everything? I kinda like my brother's 77' 383 Stroker powered Camaro. It's ugly when you first look at it, but over time it kinda grows on yah; just like your best friend's girlfriend.

I agree that the new F-body must be RWD.
GM has a history of cutting cars just when they get good.
It's what happens when the bean counters run the show instead of the car guys.
Bob Lutz should be able to turn things around if he has enough time. His contract is short.

Imports have raised the bar for the American manufacturers.
But it was the truck boom that killed the sports car. Even the imports lost all their sports car models. People want to buy their "tall station wagons."
GM is cheap. One trade magazine mentioned that GM is so cheap they will always be the last to get the latest technology. So, I figure, they most certainly would not put money into a model who's sales peaked in 1977 when they can build more SUVs.

The new Sigma platform may be able to work for the F-body. I suggest checking out the Holden line (GM Australia). The Commodore and SS-Ute have use the same motor and the 6speed manual trannie! The SS-Ute is less than $20,000 when converted to American dollars!! It proves that GM can do it, but are they willing to?

Ok, I'll have to dig up some pictures for you

The body's rough, but I've put a rebuilt 283 and 2 speed power glide with new dual exhaust in her!

I still have the original 327 but have yet to do anything with it. Would really love to put a 409, dual 4 barrel, 4 speed transmision in her (yes I have access to all these goodies too )

As for the GrandPrix, its a 3.8L V6.. Didn't have a GTP on the lot when I bought mine, so I opted for the 2 door sport instead

                          Hey Guys,

I figure any GM car buffs (such as yourselves) could appreciate my dads car (which he is passing down to me!!!). Its a '67 Corvette Stingray 427 Big Block. My dad bought it back in 1980 (when I was born) and rebuilt the thing by himself. He knows cars, especially this one. Its where I get my love of cars from. But, he is currently giving it a FULL restoration, top to bottom, every nut and bolt, EVERYHING. He's gonna get it NCRS Top Flight awarded, and this car has been featured in many many corvette magazines due to its estimated 97% origionality. So, here are some pics that I took (sorry about the crap quality, my webcam SUCKS) and enjoy fellow car nuts!!! :) :)

The lines are the aluminum roofing sheets overhead, NOT marks on the paint! ha, the car is SO shiney from its professional paintjob that its literally like a mirror.

There she is, the mother of all corvette engines. This one is actually pushing 13:1 compression and has the chevy racing cam in it from GM, which still qualifies as stock somehow. He is getting new a aircleaner top and such that have the proper silk screening, etc.

This is to show the high po. tach!! yummy 6500rpms!!!!

Well, there ya go. hope you all enjoyed!

Ok, great. I may as well pull my motor pics now.
Screw you guys, I'm going home.....

Do any of you have any CRUSTY hot rods to show off. Ones that won't make my POS T/A (Which I've opted not to show you) look so damn POS???

Cherry Vettes are overrated. Chicks dig beaters.

As soon as I can get a digital camera to take pictures of my brand new 468. I don't have any heads to put on though, but I have everything else. I need a couple thousand more and I'll be finished.

UDTSEAL, a 427 is one helluva motor. It's crazy how fast you can get one of those.
