Don't know if this has been posted, maybe some of you have seen it. See if you can figure it out

but how does it know which multiple of 9 you choose?

This is how it works:

Let's say you had a number 46. 46 can be represented as 4*10 + 6*1, since 4 is in the 10's digit place and 6 is in the 1's place.

Suppose you have a 2 digit number: XY

(10X + Y) - (X + Y) = 9X

Your answer will always be 9 times the 10s digit... which will end you up with... 9,18... 81

If you notice... the symbols may change but the ones on numbers divisible by 9 are the same... and show up in the ball.
