stupid 'Tab' key

Alright this is such a little thing, but it really bothers me when it happens... Usually when you're filling out a form or something on the computer, and you press tab, the cursor moves to the next box/blank/etc, right?? Well, sometimes when I press tab it switches the active window. When this happens, I can restart the stupid comp and all is well.
I have Windows 98, if it makes a difference... does anybody know WHY this happening and/or how to fix it?? THANKS FOR KEEPING ME SANE!!!!!

your Alt key is probably stickey... get a new keyboard, they're cheap!

Well I just got a new computer and when you get everything just right it is great! Then, a week later it starts getting bogged down with my 1 gb games and such then it crashes and I realize I dont have my XP disk and I have to pay $200 for a new one and it all pissing sucks...

Oh well...
