this kept happening to a guy i know, so he took one of those green plastic mailboxes, sund a 50lb bag of conrete into the ground with 4 pieces of rebar in it brought those up into the bottem of the mail box and filled it with concrete... a honda civic hit it like 2 weeks later
The score was

My dad was telling me about my grandpa when someone kept knocking down his mail box every week. So he finaly got made and took a 4x4 pole of pure iron. and then filled a mail box with concrete and burried it about 4ft in the ground. Well the guy broke his arm.
btw i hope you get better over your mail box loss
Props to echo419 for the sigComment

we had someone that continually ran over mailboxes with cars. since we had alot of old half rotted fenceposts from the fence we had just taken down. we just kept straightning the old box and replacing the post. i think they got used to it not doing damage. then we replaced the post with a laly column (the concrete filled types used for houses). found pieces of the car a few days later when they broke the column in half. they never did that again.Originally posted by dano_____I keep forgetting to not feed my mags after midnight so they seem to multiply regularly.Comment

mailbox
Well, still havent found a car missing a corner of their bumper yet.
Lookign to install either a 4" steel pipe filled with cement, or one of thoe 12"X12" railroad Tie timbers with the mailbox inset intot he middle of it.
Either way, I'll know when someone hits it next time.Sometimes It's Good to be EVILComment
