    Muscle spasms

What causes muscle spasms? You know, when you have a muscle that that just keeps twitching uncontrollably. My tricep has been doing it in about one minute spurts, every ten minutes almost all day. Yesterday it was my hammstring. It's getting very annoying.

(well this is the 3rd time ive typed this... cause im stupid and want to copy it and pasted instead. damn)

When your body is low on potassium ions (part of the local calcium-potassium chain involved in synaptic responce) it inhibits the ability of your neurons to stop the sending and receipt of the calcium ions. Thus creating an action which was uncommanded by your higher functions due to a localized problem.

In other words eat your 'Nanners or you will be a twitchy monkey!

It happens to me when I'm shooting sometimes, in a high-pressure match sometimes a muscle near my left shoulder will start twitching. Really tough to deal with, since its just a byproduct of me being nervous I just relax myself. That doesn't seem to be the problem for you, so I'll say drink more water.
