*NEW* photoshop wars (take 2) : the real deal

ok guys it's time for the REAL photoshop wars lol..this time each round is gonna have an assignment, a deadline, and whoever does it best wins that round. sound good? it should be a lot more organized than the last attempt hehe.


PS- which extension (.jpg, .gif, .bmp, etc) makes it so you don't have to download the image every time you load up the thread?

1. one pic per post

2. nothing vulgar obviously (don't piss the mods off)

3. ummm, don't steal other people's work and claim it as your own lol..

4. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO USE PHOTOSHOP

5. pics cannot be bigger than 500x500pixels (keeps the loadtimes down)

6. don't include signatures (to also keep loadtimes down)

ROUND 1: begins april 24; 12 noon EST, ends april 27; 5pm EST winner: Cypres0099
we'll start off with something easy and trite...edit an advertisement for a movie (like a poster or w/e) and make it funny. including paintball is a plus (hey, gotta give credit for keeping on topic..sorta)...


ROUND 2: begins april 27; 5pm EST, ends april 30; 5pm EST winner: Kai
take any paintball related pic and turn it into something completely bizarre and unrelated to paintball (example...taking a pic of a guy shooting from a bunker and turning it into someone holding up a deli, etc)


ROUND 3: begins april 30; 530pm EST, ends may 3; 530pm EST winner: mag-hatter
a little easier, but much broader. make an image that would have the appropriate caption of "OWNED" (include OWNED in your pic). i know this is a little cliched but so was the movie one and that got a lot of turn out . GL.

ROUND 4: begins May 4; 9:30am EST, ends May 7; 5:30pm EST winner: mag-hatter...again
y'know how cereal sometimes has like little toys inside the box? or sometimes there's a frontman on the cover (think wheaties with different atheletes on the cover). okay, well...take a pic of a cereal box (any cereal) and make it have either a weird frontman (i.e. clare or tom...not that they're weird..) and/or a bizarre toy within (i.e. a paintball gun, etc). entries aren't limited to paintball, just used them as examples. GL.

ROUND 5: begins May 7; 5:30pm EST, ends May 10; 5:30pm EST winner: tony3
running out of ideas..or maybe my brain's fried from the AP test i took today....okay this is a little tougher...but here ya go. since the matrix reloaded is coming out the 15th, this round will be dedicated to the matrix world. take anything matrix related and edit it and caption it if you want (make the picture funny). or take something not relate to the matrix and matrix-ize it. for example, take a pic of a paintball game and have someone running off of the side of a bunker to shoot..or something. doesn't have to be paintball related. this is kinda broad, which i did on purpose. anything matrix related is acceptable, as long as it isn't just an uneditted pic.

ROUND 6: begins May 7; 5:30pm EST, ends May 10; 5:30pm EST winner: sneakyhacker420
OKAY...something a little different this time! This time, you have to create your own logo for something paintball related. it can be anything from something like the infamous logo of calvin pissing on a cocker to your very own AGD logo. keep it paintball related! this is a little different than the stuff in the past, so we'll see how this round goes. show your stuff!
