RealDownload is turned on. Turn it off and you should be fine. It's been awhile since I used RealDownload so I don't know how the new versions look.

I forgot to ask which Realplayer you have, Real Player or RealOne?

Is it just me, or does Kazaa-lite not return as much from searches as the original Kazaa?

Worked fine for me when I had it. What are you searching for?

kazza lite connects to the same P2P network as the regular kazza, but the program itself has been decoded and edited to remove all unwanted adware and popups

so if you are getting less results than normal... thats just you... also, make sure that your max search results is set to 100 or whatever is the most it allows

plus hitting the search more button helps come up with a few extras

                        Yeah, its set at 200.

It seems ok now. I think it was just because I was searchinig late, and there may not have been as many people on.

Side note: I think it was on CBC radio that I heard that the US government had sided with the music industry on the P2P issue. Anyone else heard about this? What could this mean for Kazaa?

I heard that to. It think they said that P2P also shares other files besides mp3 and mpg's and that the P2P network carries no files.

the ruling was that the creators of p2p products could not be held responsible for what consumers do with them as long as they were not specifically marketed for copyright infringement and they have some other use.

I don't know why everyone (Well not everyone, but enough people to say so) says that lite gives less results. If anything, it has more. Searches the same place, and you can keep on clicking search more. Regular you can only do it once.
