    Car Wax?

I was just wondering what kind of Car Wax everyone else uses.

I got a new(used) BLACK Mustang not too long ago. I've noticed on the car you can see swirl marks all over the body (they've been on the car since I got it and aren't THAT noticable). I was wondering if there was any type of car wax or something I could use to make these less noticable. You can barely see them but with it being a black car they stand out easier.

Right now I'm using plain old Turltle Wax. I was just wondering if there is something better or something specially formualted for black or darker colored cars. I want my car to have a really bright shine and I want the black to look really deep, any suggestions? I know several of you on AO know your way around cars and figured yall might know a thing or two about this (because I don't)

Those swirl marks come from automatic carwashes, or the "foaming brush" at the hand done places. The paint can also easily scratch, if you don't rinse off the sand and grit first, before you starting wiping it with soapy rags.

Try color match wax, it's sold everywhere, to fill some of the deeper swirls, and hide the little ones better. To get a really deep shine, will require multiple coats done one after the other.

I did 4 coats in an afternoon once (now I only do 2), and the shine lasted for many months. It looked like new clear-coat it was so shiny and thick!

      clay

Wax is pretty good, meguiars makes some really awesome stuff, but to really get the swirl marks out and mask the smaller scratches, nothing beats a clay bar. Again, meguiars makes and excellent product.

Another product is called liquid glass. If you used this with the clay bar, you would be amazed at how much better your stang looks.

I agree, I'd go with Meguiars. I use it on my black Subaru, and it's works really well, no swirl marks at all, so long as you do it properly.
