    Counterstrike, Anyone?

    Yesterday I installed Counterstrike (The disk version) on my computer. After updating, I tried to play it, and I found out that someone already was using my serial number. I contacted teh company, and they gave me another serial, but I do not know how to get rid of my original serial in order to use this new one. Even after I uninstalled and reinstalled, I was unable to type in a new serial. Te game just starts up and tells me there is already someone on with my serial.

    Does anyone know how to undo my serial number? because my computer doesn't seem to want to let me play CS anytime soon...

      start - run - regedit - "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Half-life\Settings\" double click the "Key" value and enter the new one with no dashs

              HELP!

              This is related to CS, I just dont want to take up bandwith my starting a new thread. My CS was fine for about a month, then the crosshair started to be dramatically off. For example, when i single shot burst at a wall ten feet away, it hits about two feet about the crosshair, and it gets worse. I reinstalled the game and it worked for about a day, yet it has done it again. Any ideas/suggestion? Please help, im starting to hate the game when you have to aim at the ground to hit someone midchest...
              I throw newspapers for the OC Register, it sucks...

                  hmmm.... Maybe I'm just dumb, but that file doesn't seem to exist on my computer When I try to run it all i get is an error message saying that the program in question is nonexistant.

                  Anyone else want to venture a guess at what i'm doing wrong?

                          Has happend to me..Make sure that the screen is the biggest it can be...IE Make sure there are NO black edges on the screen while in-game....if there are hit + until they disappear..May work..if not let me know
