Why aren't velcro shoes fashionable?

I've been told that velcro shoes were ok when I was 5... and will be ok when I'm 60... this upsets me.

I remember being made fun of in middle school for wearing them... i specifically went out of my way to find them... which is difficult now.

I hate laces! Velcro makes so much more sense... But I don't wear velcro shoes now because it is laughable.

AMEN. I've got white velcro shoes for our scramble band, $5 bucks at payless! Cheap shoes for runnin around a field with. They rock.

If you dont like laces why not get slip on's? I have a pair of K Swiss slip on's. There really comfy too

one of my friends only wears velcro shoes, he has 3 or 4 pairs of them that he does everything in.

Sport these, I know a few who do.

I run alot, and like hte ability to do so whenever I may need to... and I just need the tightenss you can get from laces. velcro is not an option.

And i don't see what people see in chucks. they remind me of clown shoes or soemthing. If I am going to buy a pair of shoes, tehy are going to be a high performance running shoe, not a flat soled dorky POS.

I don't really care what kind of shoes I wear. I just wear what I can get on and off fast, and what's nice and comfy. Right now, I wear big skate shoes that I can slip on and off, but tighten them if I need to.
