Help Save SURGE! lol, This was my favorite drink for a long-*** time. and then they took it away from me for no aparent reason

I am sure many of you used to drink it, so go sign the petition and look around. It's actually kinda funny.

They stopped making it because not enough people bought it! The Melon Mello Yello that they had out for ashort time was much better. Go out and buy some of the new Live Wire Mt. Dew, Orange is the best!

I remember when I first had some Surge...Mmmmm....Surge.

You either hated it or loved it, unfortunately most people hated it.

Supposedly, that soda was named after a local soccer team from my town because they got a sponsorship from Coca Cola.

Speaking of dead soft drinks, does anyone ever remember OK cola, from the 90's? I never got to try that, and they went out of business! Or the invisible cola craze? heh....

Did anyone go to the coke factory in Vegas and try some of the nasty internation drinks? I actually spit some of them back into the cup I had.

There was a mini-riot at my high school when Surge was introduced. Riotz might remember it.

Coke sent a van full of surge to my school (an all-boys school) before it was available to buy. They showed up right between the two lunch periods, so no one was in class, and they showed up where no teachers were in the immediate vicinity.

At first the driver just opened the back and started handing out free surge. That wasn't going fast enough though so he got pushed out of the way as some guys jumped into the truck and started throwing it out a case at a time. Kids started filling their backpacks and going to class. One kid managed to fill his entire locker, making multiple quick trips. Cans started flying through the air. One kid was hospitalized, 10 stitches from a flying can of Surge.

After a while the teachers ran out and cleared the area, and as soon as they had begun, the Surge riots were over.

But for the rest of my high school career I was addicted to Surge. It was great.

I remember that stuff... I too was addicted... but when it stoppe showing up in the vending machines in High school, I just switched to mountain dew...

that seven upside down stuff is wierd man...

I have heard that if you mix dnL and Sunny D, it tastes exactly the same as Surge. But I have never even seen dnL so I haven't tried it yet.

I was watching some old video(couple yrs old) or my school, and there was like 3 machines with Surge lined up. That pissed me off, lol.
