Gotta love people who try to scam others ...

Okay check this ... my mother gets this in her email today and forwarded to me because she thought it was odd sounding ...

    Dear valued PayPal member:
It has come to our attention that your PayPal billing informations are
out of order. If you could please take 5-10 minutes out of your
online experience and update your personal records you will not run
into any future problems with the online service. However, failure
to update your records will result in account suspension. Please
update your records by May 25th.

Once you have updated your account records your PayPal session will not be
interrupted and will continue as normal. Failure to update will result in
cancellation of service, Terms of Service (TOS) violations or future
    problems.

To update your PayPal records click here:

From paying friends to saving money or getting cash back when you shop, explore what the new PayPal app has to offer.
    Now if you follow the link they have you get a page that tries to look like a paypal page. Notice though the lines asking for the following info;

    Paypal account:
    Paypal password:
    Primary email password:
    Mother's Maiden Name:
Checking out number, etc etc etc ...

Now who actually falls for this????

I dont know about the rest of you but I decided to spend about an hour filling out the form over and over again LOL ... gotta wonder how much damage the AO crew could do if each person just kept filling it out LOL ...

Friends of mine about 8 years ago used to just ask people on AOL for their screen names and passwords. Sometimes they would say they were from AOL, sometimes they would just say they "needed" it.

Who falls for this? Well about .5% or so of people were willing to simply give it out their password to "xTrmeBrdr" or whatever screenname they were using. I can only guess how many people fall a scam that actually tries to look legit.
