I am looking for a good DivX encoding program so that I can convert MPEG videos to a smaller sized .avi file. What are some suggestions if you have any. Need to find a way to have videos take up less space on my computer.

just use virtualdub. Its free and its fairly simple to use.

I perfer FlasKMPEG Just look up a site called DivX Digest(forgot the url,lol) theres lots of guides, lonks, etc.Classic RT - RT02667
