    $1000 worth of truck repairs!

Just got my truck back from the shop. I had them do all the crap i really don't feel like doing myself, but now i'm wishing i had.

$1000 bill for basically replacing every part of my steering linkage and bushings, had the rotors ground and new pads on there. It didn't need new pads. I'm gunna have to see if they actually did that.

All the ball joints and stuff were completely torn up.

My dad ripped me off on this truck. I'm paying $500 more than its worth, and it needed a grand worth of repairs, not to mention the huge scratches and dents in it.

Looks like i'll be spending the entire summer working my way out of half of my debt.

    Fun fun.

My truck is louder than yours. A lot louder.

Sounds like he had a plan to keep you busy.

I know the pain though. Our Van had similar treatment (but more) this spring. It is worth it though to have a safe vehicle.

Well, my truck's got too much personal history behind it to let go.

The blue book value on my truck is about 4600.

          Its a decent truck, nothing special. 1995 F150 4x4. Regular cab, long bed. I6 300 with a M5OD and 3.55 gears...

I bought it off my dad for 5000. Was just sitting in the front yard for a few months collecting dust on the for sale sign

It would be a great farm truck. Sucks badly on the highway though.

$1000 is a lot harder for me to make though... My insurance is probably tripple what you've got, and i go to school 5 days a week so i can't work long hours.

what a pain in the ***
