Matrix: Reloaded review with no spoliers

Wow, WOW. That was f-ing cool.

    Great fights.

    Great on/in/around car fights.

    Decent plot complexity.

Good ending, with a nice 'cliffhanger' but not so bad that you want to murder the directors for making you wait 6 months.

Not as much. It really builds on what they did in the first movie. Go rent it.

          Eh...I disagree.

I thought all the actions scenese owned...but the dialogue was horrible.

I felt like I was watching star wars episode 1.

As far as plot complexity...um...wow. A bit too complex for my liking. At one point in the movie (those who have seen it will know what i'm talking about) I thought I was taking the SATs all over again. In the first movie, there were very few logic gaps, but this one was just plagued with them.

Don't get me wrong, I thought the movie was really enjoyable to watch, but I think the CG really made up for the lack of logic in the plot.

Anyone else think this movie wasn't as good as they expected?

Still, go see it...I hope Revolutions makes up for it.

just came back from seeing it. i definitely think it was a freaking cool movie. the dialogue was not horrible, nor was the plot. the fight scenes, were of course, awesome. i agree that the plot was pretty complex, but i didn't really see any logic gaps...well maybe one at the near very end. one complaint i have is that there was too much sex, too much deep throated kissing. anyone agree? i don't think it was worse than i expected, i think it met all my expectations...i'm gonna go see it again though, to understand the plot better and to enjoy it all over! it's definitely worth seeing!

oh ya...who knows that feeling that you get when you're really into like a book series or a television series or something, and you know it's almost over? you know that really crappy feeling you get? ugh, i have it lol. only one more matrix movie . i really hate this feeling!

well i guess you guys just dont get it.

i dont need to say again how cool the fights and the effects were, i think you all know that.

but the plot, was right there with the story. why are there logic gaps... because the STORY isnt FINNISHED!!!!!

this is just a setup for the end, not one of these movies should stand on its own.. you have to hear the whole story to understand it.

the plot gave the points it needed too, to build up to the ending.

and if what was confusing you guys was the saene in the round room with neo talking to the white beared guy, (sooo didnt want to give anything away). if that confused you then you shouldnt have smoked so much before the movie.

or just payed attention, it was all clear and gave resolution to a lot of things, all most the most important sene in the movie, in fact it is the most importante!

sorry if i sound pig headed, but i have read nothing but people complaining about the "thin plot" for 2 days now, im sorry you just didnt get it!

              just my .02

              peace out

p.s. was anyone else smart enuff to stay till the end of the credits???

from the judge in the WDP v Sp case.... " i find it significant that aside from a somewhat limited notebook produced by gaston, the four named inventors offer NO documentation of there work or there contributions to the conception or reduction to practice of the claimed invention"

datapimp69 I agree totally. The plot was deep. The reason I didn't go into it was this is a spolier free area.

                  my plot summary (no spoilers):
                  What is Choice?

It's also fun to look at what was said in The Matrix with the new info in mind. Some quotes are very interesting. I suspect we will do the same thing for both movies after Revolutions.

yeah Datapimp I think your right on base with your comments...

If your not drawn in by this movies plot I think your seriously missing something. Hell just the religious undertones alone had us talking for 3-4 hours lastnight.

I thought the movie was good. I like a deep plot. I dont think everyone will get it.

The Kung fu well the Kung Fu is an anology for computer hacking in the matrix.

I thought the low points were the sex scene and the burly brawl kind of sucked.

I think there were a few quotes that we'll hear a lot.
I like the Architect's Freudian look. Unfortunately, most of the movie watchers will need to consult the dictionary to understand him.

"Would you like to sample a bullet from this gun?"
                        "Kiss this!"
