its fun when you are good, the period between sucks (for me at least). I try no to play it too often or i get extremely bored, but thats just me. I would go ahead and buy it (or download it), it makes for some fun play.

dont buy the retail version of CS. ive played CS for about 2 years and the retail version sucks. get halflife for cheaper and download it for free. but my real suggestion is. just get halflife cause there are so many mods that can own counterstrike soo badly. ie: natural selection, desert crisis - check those two out.

Yeah go buy the cheap version of half life for like 10-15 bucks. Then update it and get CS. Then you can also get a buncha other cool mods.

CS is a great game. Love playing it.

No Condition Zero will suck. I played the beta, its so bad, I suggest staying with regular CS.

But I am going to stop playing, as soon as Half-Life 2 comes out. Its gonna be so sweet.

CS sucks, if you buy the retail version I will kill you, get halflife so when you realise that cs sucks you can download another mod.
