Postal 2?

Thinking about getting it, has anyone played it. If so what did u think about the game.

ive played postal 1 if their anything alike its worth getting if its under 30 bucks... if it has better graphics new stuff etc i woudnt spend over 40 on it

I thought the game would be horrible (from the first one), but it's actually rather fun, there's lots of stuff to do, it looks nice and it's very funny. The game is VERY politically incorrect and rather horrible at places. It's basically a game made as a jab to stuff that the game devs (Running with Scissors Studios) dislike. So far i've had to fight Muslims, Anti-Games protestors, Hippies (with amusing slogans such as "Save a tree, burn a book!" and "Hitler wrote a book!") and rednecks.

I have to say, despite having done it about 500 times now, peeing in someones face until they puke, then setting them on fire and watching them run around spew still gushing from their face, never gets old.

Bad points?
At highest detail, the game can chug a bit, I'm running an athlon 2400 (2 GHz) + Gefore2 MX and 1 gig of ram and running at highest texture detail can make my pc hit around 5 fps in a populated scene. The loading times are pretty long too.

Also, the game is quite hard, since people take a long time to kill and you're sometimes required to fight large numbers of them in one go.

Overall, a good, fun, if not a little pointless romp in vulgarity.

Yes it can kind of get sluggish. Im running a 1.2 with a geforce 4 128mb card.

one of the funnest games ive ever played in my life. Im surpised i havent heard people complaining on the news about how it makes people do crazy things.

I love catching the marching band on fire. Also if you catch them on fire and piss on them fast enought they will get up and walk around all burnt up.

I just got vice city today for my computer and really like it.

You don't hear much about this game on the news because it doesn't seem to command the kind of audience that a lot of other games do. GTA Vice City as of Feb had sold something like 8 million copies, and that was just for PS2. I assure you, if something as crazy as Postal 2 starts selling well (and honestly, I really hope it doesn't), it'll be in the crosshairs soon enough.

I'm thinking about getting this, the first one was awesome. But I heard load times are terrible, and I've only got a P3.

So far my review is, great game. I really enjoy playing it, very disgusting, but very cool. The load times are horrible though, but worth it.
