really basic ipod question. HELP!

I am such a noob. I have been doing alot of research into getting an mp3 player, and I have decided on the ipod. I have some really basic questions though. I would be getting the 15mb one for the pc.

I use Kazaa on my comp, so can I somehow transfer all of my songs onto the ipod, or do I need to transfer them using actual cd's?

You won't have any trouble getting them right from Kazaa to the ipod.

To tell you the truth, I like the Nomad Jukebox Zen 2.0 better, and I have used both.

Archos

I got myself a 20gb Archos Jukebox Recorder. Works great. Plug it in via USB and it acts as another hard drive. Click and copy/paste to get songs on there. Easy as PIE! I can also record music (radio,comp,etc) onto it (dont know how though ) You can also store anything from your computer on it. You can put mp3, movies, text documents, pretty much anything from your comp...I checked the IPOD out on www.amazon.com which is a pretty decent site for anything, and its listed there for 379.05, and the archos is running around 213.70. If price isnt a big thing for ya then go for the IPOD, just why pay more for pretty much the same performance . I went with the archos and couldnt be happier with it.

Well, so far I LOVE it. It is awesome, I have been listening to it all day, I stopped for maybe a combined total of 20 minutes since 8:00 this morning, and I absolutely love the fact that I can have all of my music with me wherever I go and not be carying any cd's or anything bulky. Not to mention that it is extremely easy to use, even for me. Thanks for all of your help everyone.
