That ranger was actually slow for it's weight as they couldn't hook it up. It ran high 13's. That says alot about the Lightning suspension.
The "Gen 3" lightning concept was rated 500/500 with the extra 50hp supercooler burst to the intercooler. They use the A/C to cool down a seperate reserve of intercooler coolant, and route that to the cooler at the next WOT blast. In effect... 550hp for about 30 seconds til the coolant heats up again.

Nope, those are the boneheads that don't bother to check their air/fuel ratios on the chip tune before they pound on it. With a safe tune they'll handle about as much as the L engine will as they are the same. Ther are good to about the same 16psi that the L engine is good for imho. The gray area is around 500hp at the wheels where people start surpassing the strength of the engine. Granted this is my opinion.Originally posted by Big'n slo
