I just looked around online and found a weird CD image, I tried to burn it last night and I think it messed up but I didn't get a chance to test it yet.

You apparently need a DC boot CD image, then just burn that to CD, and you are good to go.

Hopefully this image works or I have to find another one.

yes you can play vcd's on dreamcast, look here www.boob.co.uk/usertools.html they have a divx player, mpeg-1 player, a boot image, and some other stuff. another good site is www.dcemulation.com it has a lot of emulators for dc. the only problem you might have is that newer dreamcasts dont support cd-r's, or so i've heard.

I dont get how it works.

I burned it to a CD, I put it in...

Then what do I do? Switch discs? When I switch discs all it says is "Please insert a game disc"

sorry, didnt see that the boob site removed the utopia boot disc. download it here http://www.megagames.com/dc/dc_utils_bootcd.shtml you can download a few different images depending on which burning app you use. download it and burn just that to a cd, this is your boot disc. then, download GypPlay_LikSangEdition.zip and extract that to a folder (in the folder you extract to there should be 6 files and a winCE directory with 8 .dll's in it). just put your mpeg-1 files into the folder and burn it as a data cd. then put the boot disc in your dc and a screen should pop up with a reindeer on it and it will say please insert disc. then just open the cover (dont turn off power) and put in the GypPlay disc.
