making the jump to dvd (finally)

sadly its true, i am probably one of the last few that owns a vcr. even have a couple of beta players around here somewhere.

as far a reasonably priced dvd players, nothing too fancy under 100 bucks. id like it to support other formats too. mpg, windows media, quicktime, jpeg, etc.

someone told me the apex brand is a good one for around 70. just looking to get some input.

haha, that reminds me of that time where our microwave door got jammed, and we had to shatter the "glass" on the door to get the mug out that was inside... that was a damn nice mug!!

Don't feel too lonely. I came kicking and screaming into the CD world less than 5 years ago, and bought my first DVD only a few months ago!

apex is the shiz, best no name brand of all time. We got ours free with the big screen tv at circuit city... I love this player to death, it has never fooked up on me, and has always treated me well, and even my parents can use it! (thats a nice feature for me, trust me....)
