Either way the ducks are choking. They do not look even half way like the team that beat Dallas, Detroit and Minnesota. Devils will take it in 5 back in NJ. Ducks will win game 3 here but will lose 4 due to the devils being awesome on D.

That being said, how can you consider any sport a "Major League" when they give an expansion team to Columbus, Ohio?
Come on people. Let's expand Hockey by putting a new team in Ohio. Not the largest or even second largest city in the state, but the third largest? Cleveland or Cinncinnati I could understand, but Columbus. Hell, why not give Rockville, MD an NHL team next or even Hartford, CT! (Sorry cheap shot at the Whalers)

actually your right ... I never really noticed beacuse I dont get to see alot of their games, but I do see alot of devils games so my hatred it more tward their trap

Columbus got the team cause they put the money up for it. I think that 10 day rest period really hurt the ducks. They never got the rust off the blades in game 1 and well game 2 they looked more alive defensively but offense is another story. I'm looking forward to seeing if the ducks can turn the tide at home before going back to NJ in 5. (Yes I know game 3 hasn't been played yet but I feel the ducks will do it at home)

And the sad thing is, the ohio state university football program is probably about 300 times more popular then the blue jackets. how sad is that? Go to columbus, or anywhere within a 100 mile radius of columbus, u will find every store, including little gas station convience stores, stocking ohio state gear, not blue jackets gear. sad.

Well here in So Cal even with the lakers, kings etc being out of playoff competition, the ducks aren't even recognized. Even by being in the Finals. I think they are getting more attention due to the fact they are losing. Oh well.

Well obviously the don't suck because they've beaten two of the best teams in the NHL to get where they are today. I mean they swept the defending cup champions. After watching game 3 I think the ducks have finally awoken and are ready to play. Only thing ? is, Is it to late? We shall see.

Yes, they beat Detroit without Bowmen or Haschik. That is like beating the Bulls the year AFTER MJ retired!

After watching game 3 I think the ducks have finally awoken and are ready to play. Only thing ? is, Is it to late? We shall see.

They won because of the world's cheapest goal. Broduer doesn't screw up and it's 3-0 Devils!

Hey hockey's hockey. If Martin was so great those cheap goals wouldn't of happened. He made mistakes and the Ducks capatlized. The first goal was a mistake on Brodeur's sake and the second was a fluke goal but the game winner was a sweet shot that just plainly beat broduer. Fact is though the game is over Ducks won, now we go to game 4 at 2-1 in the series. The ducks offense is awake and kicking now. The OT period showed a great example of that. Now all they need is that solid defense.

As far as beating Detroit it only took 4 games. Detroit has like 9 future hall of famers that choked. Names like Hull, Joseph, Yzerman, Federov, Chelios, Schneider, Robitaille & Shanahan(sp). They choked and the ducks took advantage and swept the series.
Next came Dallas. A hard hitting Dallas team. Totally different style then the wings. They play both aggressive offense and Defense. Ducks pull away in 6 games. Beating names such as Turco, Modano, & Hatcher.
Then in all rights they should of faced Colorado but they choked and Minnesota took advantage. So then the 6 & 7 seeds are going at it. Anaheim pulls off a easy 4 game series. Allowing only 1 goal in 4 games.
Now they are in the Stanley Cup finals with 10 days rest. It obviously made them look bad in games 1 and 2. Plus the Meadowlands is a tough place to play. The crowds of both home teams make the difference. Game 3 looked more like the ducks of past series. For one they actually applied pressure to brodeur. 2 they took advantages of NJ mistakes. 3 Anaheim is just that good in OT. 6-0 in OT. In the end the ducks have had their trial and have gotten people's attention by making it to where they are. 7 seeds aren't supposed to make it to the finals. The ducks did it though. And they aren't going down without a fight.

Game 6. I feel the ducks will win again at home and are gonna take it to 7 in Jersey. Then do a repeat of the av's vs devils in 2k1. Ducks come ahead. =o)
