Ok, where to start here...
I'm not a big gearhead, so I'll probably gloss over a few details in describing this, but just take my word: It freakin RULES!
About 3 years ago my friend started out on a project. He made an extrodinary amount of money from some various side projects, so he decides to build a wheelin' machine.
It began as a stock 85 toyota pickup. I don't really know what to call it now. Toy-let, or Bow-toy seems to be the best, since it is mostly a chevy now!
I believe the engine is a 383 chevy, it has:
38" Tires
18" of lift
Front and Rear Lockers
Completley new suspension system. He took it to a shop, totally custom built specifically for this truck... no other one in the world (what he tells me anyway, I don't know
)
Front and rear Axels are from a 3/4 ton chevy
not sure what type of tranny it is, just know it isn't from the toyota
5000 pound winch
custom built roll-cage
About a million other things I can't think of at the moment.
Today was the first time we took it out, so problems were to be expected. His clutch was messed up, its brand new, but as the day went on it was harder and harder to get it into gear. He said he knew what was wrong with it, but I can't remember now...
Here are some pictures. I also have a ton of movies I took with my digi camera, but I can't host them... doh!
