I'd much rather be in a crown vic with a beefed up 302 than a mustang with a 302 at high speeds... much more stable.

Seriously though mango, that's obviously an R/C car.

My truck is louder than yours. A lot louder.

LOL! I'd love to see that.

Falconguy: One person held each arm, and the instructor stood about 5 feet in front of us holding the OC spray. We had to have our eyes open and look at the instructor and say our name and department. Somewhere in the time when we were talking, the instructor would spray us right in the face. I was one of only 5 people that elected to take two hits. The way it happened was like this:

As I was saying my name, I got nailed with the first hit (half second burst). I then have to yell "LEFT ARM!" so the guy holding it will let go, I then have to use my left hand to open up my right eye and read how many fingers the instructor was holding up. Then I put my arm back and tried to open both eyes to take the second hit. As I said my name I got the second hit RIGHT in my left eye. Then I had to yell "LEFT ARM!" again and try to read how many fingers he was holding up. I got it right both times, then I dropped and did 10 pushups and was escorted to the hose where I decontaminated. It was honestly the most painful experience of my life. With this stuff there is no time to act macho, your entire face feels like someone is spraying it with fire and your eyes feel like you have needles in them, and if you inhaled any of the mist (which I did) you feel like your throat is closeing up on you. The fire feeling only gets worse and worse until you can evacuate the microparticles out of your pours on your skin. The only way to get it out of your eyes is to spread them open and put baby shampoo into your eyeball socket and flush it out with water.

I now respect the power of OC spray. All the prior military guys in the class were blown away by how much pain the stuff caused. They said it was horrible compared the the gas that they were exposed to in the military.

If you want to experience it first hand, just let me know and we'll meet

              You volunteered for two hits?

I guess when you heard them say two shots, you were thinking of JD and not OC!

I like the new Jersey Trooper Crown Vics. No light bars, the lights are mounted in the mirrors. Much sleaker and stealthier while still having a marked car!

BTW, Crown Vics outsell Impalas for police duty by a ridiculous factor. Rear wheel drive, V-8, larger seats (laugh all you want, but the Impala has smaller seats, While Mango might be fit, when he gets in with his belt and gear on he will appreciate the difference!), and of course very aggressive pricing by Ford! If Chevy really wanted to compete, the should have kept making the Caprice!

1stdeadeye: Yeah the new Impalas are small. Monroe Township down here uses the new Impalas, and Washington Twp. has a bunch. We (Winslow Twp) still have a bunch of the LT1 Caprices and some regular Caprices with less than 100,000 miles on them. But they are ordering new Crown Vics every few months to replace them. We have two new Stealth Highway Patrol Units that stay on Rt.'s 73 and 30.
They are like the Staties cars.
