Cracker Barrel

Hey, Im thinkin about getting a summer job at cracker barrel and am wanting some info on it. How is it there? How much do you get paid (I know youre not supposed to tell your rate but how much do you get paid with tips and everything)? And what about the "performance based pay" promised on the website? How is it? One more thing, the raises on the site that it mentions (3 in first year I think)- When do you get them and how much are they for? OK Well anyone who has worked there answer at least one question! Thanks

a few years ago, there was a bloody murder at our local cracker barrel. some guy came in, killed 3 of the staff, and hung them in the freezer. kinda gruesome....

but hey, its a great place to work.

oh ya, if ya think i'm lieing, it should be in old newspaper articles for Naples, Florida.

I can't help ya but i can tell ya i hate the food. And on the highway there's a cracker barrel every 4 miles. I think they're taking over.

I've never seen or even heard of one. But from what I hear (*cough**chaotic**coughcough*) they aren't too great of food.

Y'all are on crack. The food is AWESOME. You eat like a king for tiny amounts of $.

Can't say anything about working there though. They wear brown... ick..

The food is excellent and consistent from place to place. You can go to one and expect the same at the next. That is comforting and very rare realy. Very nice outfit and alway a wait for a table. I have no idea about working there but I do notice there is not much turn over in the personel at the local ones so that must mean they are good to work for. I am sure it varies with the personalites of the individuals though.

Where have you seen a Cracker Barrell in NJ? The only one I know of is just past exit 1 on the NJ Turnpike at the Delaware Memorial Bridge. They are more of a southern franchise.

Near Clinton NJ there is one near the Walmart and I beleive its a Hampton Inn.

Cracker barrel is awsome. I love the food so much. I'd eat there everyday if I could. Work there and get me a discount.

Dude, there is one on 73 man! get with the times! Its probably like 10 minutes from your house....
