    Dixie Chicks again?!?

Okay those Dixie Chicks have gone too far! It is one thing to pick on GW, but now they attacked Tom Kaye and AGD! During the Academy of Country Music Awards last week, Natalie Maines prefromed wearing a sleeveless T-Shirt that read "F.U.T.K."

That is just uncalled for. What did Tom ever due to Natelie?

I think it is really time for a Dixie Chick boycott or better yet a bunkering.

This was on CNN this am!

Does anyone know what it really means, and if it means what you say then I agree with the bunkering idea.

If that actually stood for Toby Keith then I will really be pissed. That song he sung after 9/11 I think its called " courtesy of the red white and blue" is awesome. Boycott the Ditzie Chicks agian!!!!

If I listened to country music I would boycott them again. Once for Bush and once for Toby Keith.

BTW that shirt is pretty classy of them. About as classy as their horrible nude pose!

                    I found this....

"What does "F.U.T.K." stand for? That acronym was prominently emblazoned on the T-shirt Natalie Maines wore to her May 21 concert at the Erwin Center. What it means, though, seems to be a matter of interpretation. According to Dixie Chicks publicist Kathy Almand, the initials stand for "Freedom Understanding Tolerance Knowledge." This has not stopped many on the Internet, and almost anyone with two eyes and a pulse, from speculating that the shirt is an abbreviation for a common (and unprintable) epithet directed at Toby

Keith, who has been very critical of Maines' recent anti-Bush comment. At his March 23 show in Huntsville, Ala., Keith even projected a doctored picture of Maines and Saddam Hussein during the performance of his song "Courtesy Of The Red, White & Blue."

Back in 2002, Maines called "Courtesy" "ignorant," so we have a good old-fashioned pop star beef going on here. OneTwoThreeFour! looks forward to their respective dis records. The shirt might explain some of the frenzied booing the Chicks received during their live-from-Austin appearance at the Academy of Country Music Awards. (Keith was named Entertainer of the Year.)"

                        See CB,
We do agree every now and then!

Yes this is a joke, hence the !

The TK stands for Toby Keith. What was really classy though was for her to wear a shirt like that to perform at that large of an event. TK made fun of them at concerts and interviews, not on national TV. Did anyone notice he left before winning entertainer of the year and after their performance?

I am not a huge country fan, but I sure as hell loved "Courtesy of the Red, White, & Blue"!

If I would have known TK did what he did, I would have lead a boycott against him. Not really for that would be punishing someone for their views. But I think that what TK did was far worse then saying I am not proud of the president (which is about what 40% of the country thinks, last time I checked)

                            No No No!

No debating on this thread this is a joke thread only!!!!

TK criticized the chicks in interviews and made fun of them at his concerts by posting that Natalie Maines/Saddam picture that has been floating around the internet. He did not curse them or take the insults to a wide audience. I think the DCs have abosolutley no class! Not saying TK has a lot either, but to do what the chicks did on National TV is just plain White Trash! Whether you agree with them or not, the forum they choose was piss poor!

I don't want to debate either hehe.

I just don't find anything wrong with what the DC did. I mean how would you feel if someone said you were like a mas murder because your expressed your right as an American and said you are not proud of the president. I would have done alot more then wear an FUTK t-shirt if I was them. I mean we all can't like Tom Kaye.
