Well saw the movie today, on IMAX, w0w amazing movie. The cars were pimping it, I loved the part when they pull into that warehouse, then those big huge pickups just ram down all the cop cars, then like 300 mad pimp cars come speeding out.

first one sucked bad. the preview out sucked the first one. There's no way I'm gonna go see a full length vers of BS on wheels.

No, they dont talk about NOX alot in this one, but it is shown in the first race, but they talk more about NOX in the first one.

After seeing the movie I came home and totaled up how much it would cost to add all those cool extras onto a honda civic, I am talking like neon lights, paint job, rims, all that cool stuff. I am not talking about the engine and NOS.

I saw the first one and HATED it... is the second one any better? If not I'm not wasting another seven bucks on that BS.

God I hate these movies... they really bring too many posers and too much public heat to those of us who are really into tuning cars.

Plus this one is total crap using current production cars like the current generation eclipse which is way heavier and slower then the 2nd gen DSM used in the first movie.....

it is nice to see the tuning culture getting larger, but I still have to laugh when people slap on stickers and 4 different brand/width tires and think they are racers

I saw it, I liked it. No it doesn't portray tuning super accurately, but it's not a documentary, it's a movie. I could go into a flame about all the tuners out there and how they are over critical but I won't .

I noticed a lot of NX stuff in the movie. I wasn't looking for it but it did catch my eye. You have to know what NX stands for though.

I will go see this movie. But for only one purpose. To laugh my arse off at it. These movies are so fake and cause so many stupid people who think they are cool to go out and street race. I live in a college town and there are so many damn rice rockets around here its not even funny. From huge spoilers (on front wheel drive cars) to fake disc brakes over the rear drums to the gauge pods on the a pillar which do nothing but tell you the same thing that your normal gauges do. I also gotta say that the fake carbon fibre makes a great accent to any car.

The other thing that cracks me up is the badges on these cars. Its always great to see a maxima with a type r badge on it or how many people have v-tek stickers and badges on their cars. But whatever, thats my mini rant. If you want a cool car then build it to go fast and not to look "good". And yes i know for a fact that many of these cars do not have any engine mods as I regularly burn them in my moms 98 volvo.

That probably didnt make any sense. But now Im gonna go get some NAWZ at the local race shop.

lol. i thought it sounded like an angry beehive at that part. i wasn't a really big fan of the first one, but my girlfriend dragged me to see this one today. IMO its better than the first. still not too much of a plot, but definitely cooler cars. and not just imports : )

I dont know where to get steros and stuff, but I am more interested in lights and rims... maybe in some time I will get a pimp system.

From the preview the only scene that looks good is where the Mustang meets a 18 wheeler trailer I hated the first one. Won't/Don't wanna see this one.
