How to cure a friend of friendly fire?

Went with the gang and played this weekend (after going to some lame estate sales. Why don't any of theses geezers ever have complete paintball setups? Oops hijacking my own thread...). Here is the scenario.

One of my friends is famous for taking out members of his own team. This weekend he took out my wife when she was reaching for the flag (he has now done that to her on two separate occasions in the three times she has played). He has taken me out (while on his team) numerous times. The worst was when I was standing five feet on him and asked him a question. For whatever reason it startled him and he swiveled and lit me up with that darn electronic spyder of his....

Anyway we need to cure him of this annoying habit. Any advice on cruel and unusual punishment for him everytime he shoots his own teammates would be appreciated

Shoot him every time you guys get on the field. Right off the break. Don't even let him get to a bunker. When the blow the whistle, turn and put 2 in his head every time.
Or stop telling him when you're playing paintball so he doesn't show up.

Have HIM play front a few times, and "accidentally" get marked from behind...

Whatever the solution, ya gotta cure him. That is a VERY annoying problem that, in theory, is easily fixed. In theory.

We do like him. He actually makes it kind of funny. I do like the idea about shooting him off the break! If I did that a couple of times he would learn real quick. Might have to do that!

SIMPLE!!! Have him play on the other team!!

That way, you and your wife can capture the flag and you don't have to worry about him taking you out...he'll be too busy taking out his own team mates.

The best solution! It was so simple.....

You guys obviously aren't married, however. The wife always wants a shot at taking you out. It adds a whole new dimension as well since bonus balls can cause you a night on the couch.

i did that once. i never turned my head and shot blindly again.

but anyway, i think that you should shoot him every time he shoots you, as a punishment. just everytime, pump one into his chest when he gets you out. in a while he will get pretty angry and either be more careful or stop playing all together. id be happy with either

make him play front and u play back, and u have to "drop the hammer" on his ***.......start up with a long stream of paint over him then bring it down upon him quickly then bring it back up quickly

he'll learn his lesson quick if that happens a few times

or you could do a "firing squad" every time he shoots a teammate (1 ball for every person on ur team, he wears a mask and covers his genetalia, that's it)

play everyone vs. him. But he has to get shot like 30 time before he can quit. No, no, I know what you are thinking, "Turn him into some sort of paintball terminator?"
Only in a sense. It might be fun for about a minute until someone unloads about half a hopper on him to tag him out.

Here's a better idea. When the game starts have everybody on his team call out so that he's the only one playing.
