    SLAYER Needs Help

Ha ha, I bet you thought I should go to the tech section, but I have a problem with women(my mag has much less problems than women and it costs a lot less :) ). There is this friend I have who knows how I feel about her and is really cool about the situation and so am I but I really like her and she has a boyfriend(serious, they are moving in). I am not going to even encroach on their relationship because they are both really cool people but I need some suggestions on how move on for myself. I recognize the need and have been taking some steps to distance my self from her in a romantic way w/o destroying our platonic bond. As of right now I have been exercising a great deal, and trying to get back in touch with old friends( male and female). So the question is, how does one move on from one that they really care about?

PS shooting people with paintball guns or taking over the world are not options :)...OK well I am working on the second one :)

do this - slam your head against a brick wall until you forget all about her, thats about your best option, no joke.

Getting over someone can be really hard, thats why people go on 'rebounds' after they break up with someone they really cared about. It takes time, and the best way is to be patient. Try not to think about her that way, getting your mind off the subject is the first step to not having that type of subject.

Yeah it's tough man..... What ususally helps me is to run, ALOT. The X-Country team at my High School actually wants me to be depressed so I'm in my top shape. j/k.... but not too far off. The only thing that works is time. Anything else just takes your mind off of things until you can move on. Things that are good at taking your mind off of things:
      Angry Music
      Bowling
      Gigantic Group of Friends
Walking (like 10 miles alone in silence)
Punk Music (always nice to hear about other people's problems)
      Writing
That person who you don't expect to like you, but does

Just my opinion and limited experience, hope it helps. And try and feel better man.

Yeah, It really is tough man, I'm on the rebound right now :o Everyone, whether men or women, even if they don't admitt it, goes through the vicious cycle many times in their life. Just try to stay positive and be with a bunch of people you care about, and confine in friends you can really trust.

BTW Pat really nice last thing, its the truth though.

A hottie lacking all redeeming moral qualities is great for such situations. Just be safe.

You guys are quite an allright crew, thanks. Only time will make it better in the end. And yes I do run a lot :)

I'd say, seriously, meet someone new. This is the only way that I've ever been able to get over anyone. It takes you from worrying about the past to looking forward to the future.

And if that doesn't work I'd say just start a company called WGP, make a marker called the "angel" and hire a bunch of "Angels" to try to get people to buy it.

Or just take over the world, but thats the easy way out :)
