    yeah, their RAM hungry, and the ibooks are kind of slow.
    And they are pretty expensive...
    I just love my OSX.. and Maya is available for it- no 3DSMax though. I can't argue that their faster than PCs, but that gets too "automag vs. autococker" for me. I'm not trying to hate on anyone.

    the ipods are sweet.
    sigs are overrated.

        I ran Apples for years, Gave up when Steve Jobs told the Apple // users to just buy a mac. Then back then Macs sucked it up except for doing Page payout and photoshop.

        Hell I used my Apple //e and GS until 97 when I got a 486/dx2 66 as a birthday give from my brother in law. It ws a PSO but it got me a GUI

        Nothing beats having a unix shell account running lynx, and gopher to get intenet access

        Apple machines have always had Soul, something the PC indrustry has never ben able to really work out for some reason. I still want to take a PC and stuff it into a G4 Case. The iPod is an Outstanding media player. Again its has soul where things like the SB Jukebox and others just dont.

        Apple use to lead teh tech indrustry,now they follow. The Power PC chips just dont cut the mustard any more. Apple needs to get it in gear and get thier archatecture updated to use faster processors and fat bandwidth to memory.

            Ive Used Macs and PC's In my opinion the only thing i would want a Mac for is Video and Sound Editing other then that PCs out perform them everywhere that is just my opinion so i dont have to have anyhting to back it up
            Besides Macs dont have a right click i mean come on i like having 10 buttons on a mouse not one
