Mmmm,around $1200 18 yrs ago.
Jay.
The top one's worth the most of that group...~$4000.00 new maybe more now.The 1962 SG is like the Holy Grail of guitars mongst players I couldn't really guess what it might sell for now,and the green Paul Reed Smith is my daily player they go for around $2500 new depending on the dealer.( find 'em used for ~$2000 or less.)
Jay.
I have 12-13 more I think + 2 Classicals,3 other acoustics,1 12 string a double neck electric and 2 banjos.(in a pear tree

All i have to say to fire blade her is....WOW! I love your PRS artist! I have:
1982 Gibson Les Paul XR-III
1998 Gibson Les Paul Special SL
2000 G&L Legacy(all stock, of course
)
1967 Ovation Tornado(13th EVER MADE!!! s/n b 013)
1960 Sekova Hollowbody(just my messin around guitar, rocks)
I love my beasts, way more paintball. I am thinkin about stopin paintball for a long time, cus paint is too expensive!) My XR-III has some pretty cool history, it is the pre-cursor to the Studio and they only made them for less than 6 months. Ohh yeah, it is Wine Red
. My Special has some nice qualitys. First, i got a new bone nut, and got the action SOOO low, but it is pretty hard to make it buzz. The pickups are Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates(my fave seymour) in the neck, and in the bridge it is a LIVE WIRE and i have active electronics in it, sheer radness. My G&L is the SMOOTHEST guitar ever made, and this is not an over statement. I like G&Ls way more than fender strats these days. My Ovation tornada, is my jazz guitar. I got a bone nut, flat wound 10's, and all original hardware and pickups. It plays so nice. Then, we are at my Sekova, it is a 1960, and that is pretty cool, it is really interesting, and it plays alright, but it is kinda my messin around guitar. Might try and change the frets, for practice. Man, i can really ramble cant i?

I love that green prs. The tailpiece on that gibson cool too.
spyderman - I got it for $370 new. I bought it when they stopped making them and put out a new model, with a few minor changes. The one I got was going for a lot cheaper than it normally would have. Still nothing compared to the guitars shown above.Comment

Nice guitars you guys...
I personally have a black Fender Strat, made south of the border. I can play a song or two

My sekova does in fact rock. And for being 4o-some odd years, it is in alright shape. But mine sounds like yours, does it have sharp cuts? and a tremolo bar(if you have yours, and it is laying around, i would be interested in buying it from you)? and is the headstock just wierd, and out of proportion? i always thought so.Originally posted by Russ
who_311 said, My 1st electric (in the mid-70's) was a white dbl-cutaway Sekova Gretch look-alike...damn, that thing would "howl"
Look Here for pics of some of my stuff...Comment
