Nope you can cram twice that much into one MD depending on what compression you have. I have mine on the lowest compression for the most space and I've gotten well over 2 hours on it. In fact I have 2 comedy routines (hour each) and over 30 songs on it and there's still room left. And the quality is still good, much like CD.

Yeah as was also stated earler, if you run out of room you just get another Mini Disc for about 2$ instead of 30 for a flimsy memory stick thats easy to ruin.

Do you have to burn mini disks? Because I got this cd burner I gotta get working (i have to reinstual the 2.0 usb soft ware but im to lazy)

Well, I got a Sony M-N505, brand new, in the box, for $90 shipped off ebay. It should be here on the 14th. Newbie215, you don't need a CD burner, you just drag directly to the MD
