whats a good iq score? i just took a test and im not sure if i should be proud of my number or not.

i took the test really fast cuz my friend sent it to me and i thought it was gonna be a joke, till i relized it was 3 pages long halfway through, and started to take my time

This one of those internet tests? I'm not sure how accurate they are but ya never know. 140 is pretty damn smart.


The whole idea of IQ points with people when graphed is a bell curve with most people around the 90-110 range (top of the bell curve). As you get further from the middle the points go up or down and there are fewer and fewer people.

Internet tests are generally inaccurate, especially if you're under 18.

Ok, to clearify for everybody. The most popular and widely used I.Q. test is the Stanford - Binet Intelligence Test, which yields the Stanford - Binet Intelligence Scales. This is the test and the scales I was reffering you. On said scales the I.Q. for a genius is about 140 to 145. There is no clear, defined cut-off line.

i got 121 on a test

Just after graduation (High School) I scored a 146 on my IQ test.I had scored in the 120's coming out of grade school for the test I had to take to determine placement for accelerated courses.
I took a test again recently and was disturbed that I only scored 112.I guess all these years after school and not using my noodle have taken their toll....
