Highschool sweethearts?

Hey, I've been thinking about my relationship with lilsnowpixie and we've figured we have no reason to end our relationship when college begins. But we also know it will be hard. So my question is, how many successful relationships here survived from highschool through college and on. Also, by successful, I don't necessarily mean marriage. You could have broken up after college because she cheat on you, or she found out about your porn addiction. I just want to hear how successful relationships lke this are.

I was in a similar situation, but am still in college.

I've been with my girlfriend for almost 3 years now, and we started dating a bit before graduation. She left the following year to another college for nursing, and I stayed at a local college. The following year I transferred to her college (don't let anyone tell you long-distance relationships don't work), and we have been living together until now. Soon we will be moving together to Vancouver to go to university.

If you think it will work and you can still pursue a career, go for it, theres no reason not to.

that's how mine ended

My highschool girlfriend and I decided to try the long distance thing, but the 2500 mile gap and the abundance of other interesting ladies ended things in a month.

my wife and I first met in MIDDLE SCHOOL!! we didnt date or anything until high school, be we were really good friends up until we started actually dating. We dated all through college, and got married when I joined the Air Force, 8 years later, we are still together.

im going to college next year and although i havnt had a steady girlfriend for about a year now, i'll share a couple things.

1) college is gunna rock! You'll meet so many cool people (many of whom are hot ladies--unless you're like me and you went to duke, in which case they're all ugly) and some of them will like you. You may wanna go out on a date with them. You may wanna go to a frat party and get drunk off your rear end and then go sleep with one of them.... so thats bad for relationships (Duh) but if you look at it as a factor in getting girls, girls like nothing more than to steal a man from another girl, so many girls will be more attracted to you if you tell them you have a girlfriend...what that menas....i dunno


2) theres no consensus between my friends sadly...about half are staying together with a 2-3 hour gap and half are breaking up....

Well, ya know. I will have to agree with something Kevmaster said. It seemed as soon as we started going out. Other girls took interest in me, several of which I would have loved to gone out with, well, atlease before I met lilsnowpixie. But now that I am with her, I really don't have any interest whatsoever. Oh well, all the better. When I told them I was happily with someone, it only made them try harder. But I've managed to shoot temptation in the face many times now, so I think I can manage it from here on out...and I have no worries about lilsnow doing the same.

Oh yea, Zumina, I will be the first male to say this, but Porn gets old fast.

Oh, it's clean alright. And just so ya know, It's not because I don't need porn anymore, it's that I don't have any interest whatsoever in porn anymore. I all seems so pointless and grungy.

I call her lilsnowpixie because if I called her megan, you wouldn't know who I was talking about since she's on AO.
