This lovely beauty will be Scooting me around the Beach next week in style. I feel like I am in "Roman Holiday".
Its a 2002 Bajaj "Legend". They are one of the previous makers of Vespa and this still pretty much is one. Same build stamp equipment from when they made them for Piaggio and all metal stuff. Exact copies because they ARE Vespas in most ways. This one has a few up to date changes like its a 4 stroke CDI but still a realy nice Scooter and well made. This one is a 150 CC. It is constant mesh four speed box all in the right grip. Clutch and gears shift in a lever squeeze and twist to shift pattern. I always wanted a Vespa or Lambretta but these are pretty much "that level" at a very reasonable price too. Here is a good link of the features and the spare tire storage and all. Cool thing about this one is there is a spare wheel and tire under that left cowling. And complete tool kit under the seat. Remarkably put together machine for sure. Very Italian but made in India. This one is light green. I will be unloading it off the truck and cleaning it up and taking some realy good pictures of it tommorrow. Its been sitting in a dusty wharehouse for four months now. Has 11.8 miles on it.
