    28 Days Later

Is anyone else really looking forward to this? I love that gritty feel from the trailers.

      I liked it!

I was expecting it to to be corny but it turned out to be pretty good. It was actually released in November in the UK and is now on DVD. I liked the fact that it was all shot in digital video (which also enabled some nice camera angles) so it adds that gritty superreality to the film.

The trailer in the theater told me enough and just seeing the camera work / setting was enough for me.

I can't wait to see the 28 DAys Later. I think it might do really well, kinda like an underground "Blair Witch"-type of movie.

all in all not a bad film, but the zombie quota was not filled in my mind. more of an adventure/survival story than a zombie film.

dont be fooled just yet by digital camera work. it might be good, but remember Tadpole was filmed in digital camera... john ritter sucks, and the camera just let them close up on peoples faces WAY too much

I'll be all right if it isn't scary, just a decent story. Scary will be an added bonus. I love how the camera work, lighting, and setting seem to come together in the trailers though.

What I find interesting is that my local paintball field has been promoting the film for weeks (posters on the walls, decals put in the windows of employees' cars, etc.).

Apparently somebody decided that the film has the same target audience as the field.
