Our field was one of the sponsors of a sneak preview so my team got to see it last night. Very cool... I thought it was well done. If you enjoy the "Resident Evil" games, you'll like this. It was more about what you didn't see, or just caught fleeting glimpses of than what what you were actually shown on screen. I thought it was closer to the games than the actual RE movie was.

    I liked it.

Just got back from seeing it and absolutely loved it. Very good movie, with a nice plot (albeit some rather big plot holes dont get me started), and deffinetely a better Resident Evil then Resident Evil was LOL ...

Overall a very good movie and one I plan on buying on DVD when I can ... again I can over look the obvious errors and such

I think it was hello ... just smaller ...

Jim or the Girl says "Do you think they saw it this time?" ... Im thinking that is an idicator that they tried it before (Also assumed since the young girl knew to expect the fly-by).

Was I the only one who cracked up when the army guy is running by screaming? He just looked / sounded so hilarious.

Yeah, it was alright. Loved the film work for sure. The plot was just a bit too predictable i think and what's with them always doing dumb stuff like going through the tunnel or when he goes into the gas station alone and almost gets bitten by the kid? I also kinda wish they woulda gone a bit deeper into why the place was doing all the stuff with the monkies, just to have a bit more unassumed background. Overall I would say it was worth it, definately got some good laughs.

Yeah there were some pretty big plot holes like how the disease was made and what it was originally used for and like when the black army dude was hiding in that room because he didn't have any bullets, yet the previous scene he was told to gaurd the staircase. Why would he gaurd the staircase with no bullets and how could he miss only like 2 or 3 zombies?

still, it was a mad good movie and I digged the part when jim flipped out on the army guys.

I don't see how the disease stuff you mentioned is a plot hole, they had some monkeys who contracted the disease and were trying to figure it out.

This is one of my favorite movies now. I love every aspect of it.

Also, the guy hiding in the room near the end, he could have easily just missed 2 or 3 zombies. When the tin cook guy was trying to shoot the zombie attacking the one dude, he had problems...plus, the guy hiding seemed to be incredibly nervous anyway. He got pwned though.

The best scene though was when Jim first came in contact with the zombies in the church. He just says "Hello" and like four or five freaky faces look up in awe. Then the priest comes stumbling up. Simply amazingly grotesque yet awsome.

I am gonna buy this on video and DVD when it comes out...and I am looking like crazy for the soundtrack, which I think made this movie even better, and at times, the lack of soundtrack was what set it.
