I just registered today on this forum, and I just wanted to introduce myself. I am obviously from Texas. I am on the Tippmann forum as "Texx", my gun setup is in my sig, however I am saveing up for an automag.


It's old, it used to be a rental, I know it's worn but for $139.00 I thought it would be a good first Mag. My first upgrade would probably be a lvl 10 bolt.

Well, thats me! I so far like this forum already.

Level ten is a good first upgrade
However, I would reccomend buying a kit fo rthat valve and replace the orings and all the degradable stuff

Just so you know, Mags are great guns even if you buy them heavily used. They keep going. I'd have to say that they rival Tippmanns to that extent. My first marker was a Tippmann 98C w/ flatline, but once I ot my hands on a mag, I never looked back. I do miss her, tho

There are quite a few of your fellow Texans here, including AGD's one and only genuine Spokesmodel, CaPoEiRa (also occasionally known as Clare Benevides). Yep, that was her a couple posts back

We have what we call AO days all over the country. These are get-togethers of fellow AO members, who take over a paintball field, call it their own, and play with about a zillion 'Mags! Many are very successful in the number of members that attend. The next big one will be in Austin on July 5th, it should prove to be quite memorable....or Havoc will pound heads! (J/K)

That's how I feel now... I miss my Tippmann. I painted her blue metal flake. She was beautiful. (for a tippmann ) Anyways, I got $350 for her when I sold her. She made her daddy proud

i feel the same way about my tippy too, it was my first so it also has sentimental(sp) value to it too. i don't think ill ever give it up, unless someone gives me a whole lota money but even then i would sell it to a friend so i could still see it. lol

Do you play at Crossfire much in Tyler?

Yeah it only has 2 fields, but hey one of them is a 5 man airball, plus its free air and field fee Sundays, all you have to do is pay for paint which is $15 a bag of 500 for Blaze.
