get everyone in your clan to pitch in 5 bucks a month and get a server.....

Who the hell sponsors gaming clans? I played with the only world ranked DoD clan from the USA for a while, but college ended that run. I have also played on several very high ranking CS clans, but never, EVER have I been on a clan that was sponsored. (For some of our LAN events places donated prizes and such, but never a flat out sponsorship. We got some token free stuff for us, but nothing that impressive)


Best way to get a server, find someone on a large pipe either through work or school and just have them host. Or join a ladder, which since DPB isn't that big probably don't exist, and use the ladder servers.

Guess your clans weren't good enough then Pokaris... Many of the top CS clans get sponsored with a lot of cool stuff. So do many of the top players in other games.

many? i would say few. the top cs clans in the world get sponsorships, but thats because they attend tournaments all over the world and can actually do their sponsor good.
