Oh man that game is addicting. I played it about a week ago and got to stage 52. I saved it and haven't played since.
TheFlamingKoosh, you have to convert guys to get archers and other guys. You convert them buy dropping guys in your castle (you have to have a temple to do this). When you have converted some guys, click on the archery flag that is on your castle, this will make guys you have converted into archers. I would highly suggest saving up for a Mana Pool though, those wizards are very helpful.
Just an FYI to those of you playing. When I got to level 52, I have 1500 archers, 250 wizards, and 100 repair guys. Casualties were like 60,XXX.Converge KillsComment

how come i lose so many archers after each stage... at stage 9 i had 20 and now at stage 11 i dont have any left...

You need to leave extra money, dont spend it all...Thats the key. Because you have to pay your guys(upkeep). If your Upkeep is $10,000. , Then leave 10k.... dont spend it.
At lvl 37 I have 600 Archers, 71 wizards, 50 craftsmen and my walls are at 200k and $2.5 mil. My upkeep is like $170k but I still profit 100-200k after the upkeep charge.Comment

It's based on how much money you gain that level, sort at level 9 you can't sustain 20 guys. Go with around 10, that seemed to work well for me. When you convert guys and have the demolition thing, you can click on the converted guy to send him out strapped with explosives. Click on the explosive guy and he blows up.
I just finished Level 24 and didn't do a thing. I let the archers take care of everything. I think I'm going to stop playing lol.Comment
