I know I haven't been around AO much..but I just thought I'd share with everyone my new pride and joy...i just bought a new car today...a 2003 Hyundai Accent...yes..i know..a Hyundai..but it's really nice and with the 5 year/60k mile warranty I won't have to worry about it for pretty much the whole time I own it. I ended up getting rid of my 01 Ford Focus, which has already been in the shop close to a dozen times for various problems. I wanted something small and economical..it's no rice mobile nor is it Cphil's truck...but I'm just starting out so I wanted something that was relatively cheap and spartan so that i wasn't paying $500 a month on a car payment. I won't have pictures of it yet. Just like with everything, I had to be specific about the color, and the one I bought had just come off the truck on Friday and they hadn't had a chance to take all the plastic coverings off and run it through their QA before they give it to me so I get to pick it up on Monday...yeah for me...
I just bought a new car today..

i have a 2002, and it's a great car, every one raggs on it because it's a hyundai, but the only thing i don't liek about it is that it has slow pick up, mines a stick by the way..
cheap cars, but great.Comment

the lemon law states that it has to be the same major problem three times within three years i think. if it was all just minor stuff then that doesn't apply. one of my friends had an intrepid that almost qualified for it, was on its way to a third transmission when the timing chain flew off and the pistons chewed up all the valves. so sucked to be him.Comment
