I saw this about a week ago, I was tempted to post here, but I didn't think anyone would care scince there are so many anti-mj people here. I was very pleased to see some truth out there finaly, instead of lies and propoganda.

Second, he is the director of the Center for Medicinal Cannabis Research Center at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. Instant bias. Can you say...justifying his job?

Third, he's a psychiatrist, not a medical doctor. His conclusions will be vastly different from the physiological findings of the original studies, all of which he had no personal involvement in.

Remember, Cocaine and Opium were once thought of as harmless too.

Just to clarify, a psychiatrist IS a medical doctor, able to dispense medication. A psychologist is unable to do so.

Army, but we aren't trying to discuss about what it will do to children, I'm sure there are many substances that are consumed by adults that children should not use, but are considered somewhat safe for adult use. And the test was done on adults, and if MJ was perscribed it would most likely be to an adult, not a child.

How about this? Even if it was proven that people could drive savely at 150MPH it is still ILLEGAL in most parts of the US. And guess what? So is MJ.

So.... I guess this is a meaningless thread.
